Menpo - Shita bō sabiji

 

Menpo face mask in the me no shita bo style in the "artificially cultivated rust" sabiji surface, with a removable nose, side vertical yadome plates, "arrow stoppers", stylized shiwa wrinkles and an impressive mustache made of yak hair. The five-piece tare neck protection is laced with dark blue sukage-style, the decorative mimi ito lacing on the lowermost sane is of the same color. The inside of the mask is varnished in the usual urushi red color lacquer.
